** Deadline Midnight 7 July **
Get your creative juices flowing and your thinking caps on and whatever other mashed up metaphors you want to use, because submissions for 2019 are open!
And we’re taking the opportunity, now we’re back home in the Old Fire Station, to make a few changes. We’re going to divide the year into two six-month seasons – Spring/Summer covering March to August, and Autumn/Winter from September to February.
Shorter seasons will let us focus on selecting the best shows to maintain our fantastic reputation for excellent theatre. It also means twice as many opportunities to submit your ideas. And we can make sure each season caters for all our demanding performers and audiences. Everyone’s a winner!
As 2019 will be a transition year, we’re looking for submissions from directors now for January to August (and we’ll have submissions in October for September 2019 to February 2020). But if you’re not a director and have a great idea, we’d still like to hear from you. Ideally try and find someone who would be keen to direct, but if you can’t, let theatre committee know and we’ll see if we can think of someone who’d be interested.
Head to the Submissions Page for all the details of what you need to think about and how to go about submitting. And get cracking, as the closing date isn’t far away – we need your completed form and a copy of the script by midnight on 7th July!
