Fired Imaginations – Community Project for the South London Theatre
We are looking for local ceramic artists with experience of community projects to help us deliver a Heritage Lottery Funded project that celebrates the history of the Old Fire Station on West Norwood High St.
The Old Fire station was built in 1881 and for the last 49 years has been home to the South London Theatre. We are currently undergoing a refurbishment programme on this very special listed building and have been commissioned to produce a piece of ceramic art that will have a permanent home in the building.
The project must include working with local volunteers and delivery of workshops and educational visits benefitting at least 30 local children.
We are looking for local partners to work with us on this project.
We would like the project to start in January 2017 with the final piece completed in April 2017.
To register your interest in the project please send a 2 page CV detailing your experience of community projects, confirming you have a current DBS check and examples of your work by October 20, 2016.
