Martin Copland-Gray announces his cast for Do Not Disturb by Michael Weller, an intimate two-hander exploring an encounter between two former lovers, opening in March.
“Do Not Disturb is a 2002 play from Brooklyn-based playwright Michael Weller, writer of Moonchildren and Loose Ends.
The play is part of a marriage trilogy entitled Loving, Longing, Leaving and charts the lives of three intersecting couples. Do Not Disturb focuses on one of the couples, Lindy & Adam who had an affair whilst being members of a book club in New York. Ten years later they meet in a Mid-West hotel room, both still married, both with children and yet still inextricably drawn to each other.
This captivating play challenges us to look deep into the heart of our feelings and emotions and through Lindy & Adam explores the question if you had a second chance, what would you do?
I’d like to thank everyone who gave up their time to attend the auditions and for their collective commitment to the process. I was especially pleased to see several new faces and some returning ones as well.
I’m super chuffed with my cast, a lovely balance of one current member and one new member and I’m looking forward to going on this incredible journey with them.”
– Martin Copland-Gray

Adam – Adrian Giribon
