We are delighted to announce the shortlist for the SLT New Writing Competition. The reading panel were impressed with both the number of entries and the quality of the scripts, which did not make deliberation easy. The play scripts were read by all on the panel and, throughout the process, the scripts were anonymised so that the panel did not know the writers of each piece. When reading the plays, the plot, characters, dialogue and the overall impression were considered. […]
