The World’s Wife opened on Tuesday night to a small but appreciative audience who left some great feedback. Our production of the Carol Ann Duffy anthology is on until this Saturday tickets are available here.

Our play this week is the Brian Friel classic, Dancing at Lughnasa. The restoration of South London Theatre’s Old Fire Station in West Norwood continues to forge ahead with many changes happening to the building and its structure since December last year. In our last fundraising update we revealed that we still had to raise £110k in order to fully restore the building including all floors. The South London Theatre’s restoration of the Old Fire Station in West Norwood made the news this week when a crew from London Live came down to interview architect Paul Sharrock from Thomas Ford & Partners, Stuart Holbey from Heritage Lottery and our very own Tom Mathias & Jenny Mclaughlin who all talked about the project, which is being carried out by Ash Contracting Ltd, and what it means for SLT and the local West Norwood community.
The restoration of the Old Fire Station in West Norwood is progressing with continued momentum with many noticeable changes to the building’s structure taking place in the past month, with many more structural changes set to take place in the coming weeks.
