Celebrating Shakespeare

Saturday 23 April

All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players;

To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, SLT is holding a celebration of his work on April 23 at Stanley Halls.

Although it’s a social event, we’re hoping to include performances of works by and inspired by Britain’s greatest playwright: scenes from plays, poetry, music. In particular we’d like encourage those of you who have performed in SLT productions to consider reprising former roles.

Now it’s over to you. If you’d like to contribute or want to help run the event, do get in touch.
