Tickets Are Now On Sale For Fest Norwood Events
As you may have heard, Fest Norwood returns this year during the dates 9-15 August. And whilst this year’s festival will be unlike the past two as many events have to be held online, we’ve still managed to come up with a programme that includes some real world activities many of which focus on our wonderful community and local area including:
We’ve also shot some original short films made specifically for the festival and we’re presenting a promenade performance in the cemetery which includes everything from music, theatre, poetry to dance. It’s been quite tricky organising this year’s activities as you can imagine, but we’ve managed to pull something out of the bag that will entertain and give some hope for a more normal future.
Online events include daily activities for kids, a theatrical make-up workshop with Lily Ann Coleman suitable for both men and women, life drawing, a play reading event which is open to anyone who would like to have a go (or just watch) and an open mic night which will be coming live from the theatre.
All the activities are listed on the Fest Norwood website with a couple more special events yet to be announced! So keep an eye out for those and we hope to see you at some of our live and online events.
