Use an unusual bright colour to wrap round the handles of workshop tools so that everyone knows that they belong to the Theatre. Good for protecting your own belongings too!

as a deterent for would be sneak thieves who try to steal the backstage crew's sweets, very difficult to remove from round the drawer silently.Also useful for gagging thieves once caught!!

Some stage crew use it for taping over the logos on their sweatshirts when doing scene changes!

White gaffer is good for marking the edges of of-stage steps to stop the actors falling down them!
