I'm on holiday on this day, sadly, but I thought it might be of interest to others:

English National Opera is holding a
Costume Sale
on 18 August 2007
9.30am – 5.30pm
Stepney Stores, 10-20 Dalgleish Street, London E14 7PS

ENO is pleased to offer a huge selection of wardrobe and prop items for sale, offering the rare opportunity to buy mementos from perennial favourites in the ENO repertoire.
A variety of items will be available to buy, including costumes, accessories and props.
Items on sale from 50p to £100
Makethe most of this great opportunity to buy quality theatrical costumesand props from the professional stage. Members of the ENO Wardrobe Department will be on hand to give design information and to answer any historic enquiries.

I think we should do this. It would course mean spending money but our historical stuff is the stuff we make most money from. And we'd have to make room. And.. ooo it's all too difficult. Wish I hadn't posted now.

oooh, it is my sister's birthday party that evening. I may go along and choose and outfit for the bar in the evening. Viking perhaps.

I might go to this too - just to look at the pretty things really.
Also trying to decide on an outfit to wear to a wedding the following week so perhaps I could pick something up - if Lou is taking the viking costume than I might bagsy a Matador costume from their Carmen off-casts if such a thing is going - then I can stand at the end of the aisle and wave a red flag to the bride
