A kooky spirituality stirs this gentle life-affirming piece, releasing post-WW1 England repressions, healing bad marriages and lonely hearts. Four very different women expect a pleasant holiday but not that it will reintroduce them to their true natures and reacquaint them with joy. San Salvatore works its magic, changing their lives in unexpected ways.

The play is set in London and Italy 1922.
