Did you know that our wonderful wardrobe department regularly create new micro-exhibitions in the foyer, which you can pop in and see any time after 10am on week days?
Each display (featuring costumes from our extensive wardrobe) is themed to tie in with a relevant cultural event such as LGBT History month, or to highlight themes or aspects of a current production running at the theatre.
The current micro-exhibition celebrating our most recent show, the Alan Ayckbourn time-travelling comedy Communicating Doors) time-travels through a selection of dresses typical to 3 very different eras of 20th Century style.
Members Jenny Bennett and Jess Osorio put these wonderful exhibitions together, which include fascinating information about the costumes on display and the subject matter they relate to.
If you would like some more information about our wardrobe or are interested in hiring costumes for your own productions, follow this link to our wardrobe page which has some more great images of our costumes in action or drop into the theatre and see the costumes on display.
