We’re delighted to introduce our new Youth and Adult Learning Officer, Teresa Donoghue – a role funded by the government’s #CultureRecoveryFund. Teresa will be responsible for kickstarting our adult learning programme and re-invigorating our youth group.
I am a long time resident of West Norwood and have been involved in community projects for many years. I have worked extensively in the education and charity sectors, specialising in learning in the community. In particular working with local communities, familie young people and volunteers. In ‘normal’ times I enjoy jive dancing and live music. I also have a passion for architecture, especially brutalist buildings and fire stations (OK I made the second bit up) I’m also lucky to have an allotment which has kept me sane over the last year. I have been a member of SLT and attended many wonderful performances. I am very excited to be working for SLT and getting to know the members and volunteers. As a newbie, I am keen to hear any ideas and suggestions for the youth programme and adult learning. Also any useful contacts or exciting ideas you want to share. Please feel free to email me at Training@
