The South London Theatre – or rather the South London Theatre Centre as it was known when it was first set up in 1967 – has had a few logos over the years. Logos which have reflected the changing times, celebrated the club’s anniversaries and marked its longevity as a fixture of West Norwood.
2017 will mark SLT’s 50th year and to celebrate we will be creating a new logo for a new era. A logo that will be contemporary, effective across both digital and print formats, a logo that will be appropriate for our new space and one that will reflect SLT’s core values and ever-increasing level of professionalism.
Our publicity director Bryon Fear will take on the heavy responsibility of designing the new logo. Over the past two years he has transformed and elevated the standard of our marketing and publicity materials and we have every confidence in his ability to create something appropriate for SLT’s future.
SLT’s general council is very keen to hear about your memories and experiences of SLT over the years; stories which will be invaluable when considering the design of the new logo.
The logo will be launched in 2017 and a new range of branded merchandise will then become available which will help fund the equipment for the new theatre.
