Welcoming young people

Drama for 6 to 18 year olds

South London Theatre Youth Drama classes take place on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the school term. We also regularly run holiday activities for different age groups, including one-off workshops and longer courses.

Our classes are friendly, informal and fun. Our aim is to develop young people's confidence and explore creativity through drama games and group work. Participants will make new friends, have fun and have opportunities to perform in front of an audience - of peers, family and friends, or even a paying theatre crowd. In 2024 for example, two separate casts of 13 - 18s put on six performances of Ewan Placey's adaptation of 'Jekyll and Hyde' to sold-out audiences.
