SLT at Open House Festival 2025
Once again our archivist Chris Bennett is leading SLT's participation in London's annual Open House Festival, where many historic and interesting buildings across the capital open their doors to the public to take a look behind the scenes over two weekends in September. We'll be open on the second Sunday of the festival.
Free hourly guided tours are on offer, and this year thanks to a generous donation from a member, all eight frosted windows in the tower have been replaced with clear glass, so that visitors will be able to take in views across the area. Visitors can also just pop in to the foyer between 2pm to 5pm for a chat with volunteers and to take a look at the theatre space.
It's a perfect opportunity to show off our wonderful building, and promote our incredibly active theatre!
