Casting: Mixed Feelings

Well this is unbelievably exciting - I’ve always wanted to put on my own play, and SLT has even let me direct it! But on a serious note, I feel utterly grateful at the faith that SLT has put into this show and the countless hours of dedication by volunteers to help facilitate every aspect of the process.

A huge "thank you" to everyone who auditioned; everyone brought something special, and even if we haven’t had a chance to work together on this, I’ve met people who I know I will cross paths with in theatre again. I’m very gassed to announce our cast, and even at this early stage I can feel how tight-knit we will become.

Mixed Feelings is a deep dive into the lives of one mixed-race family on the verge of a family crisis. Join us as the Adebayos unpack the house and their lives, and discover what’s really lurking under the wallpaper.
