Reminder: Applications for Theatre Director volunteer are now open

Since this is such a vital role, and one that is usually decided by a members’ vote at the AGM, it’s really important that the decision on a replacement remains with the membership.  Please note that only existing members of South London Theatre will be considered for the role.

The successful candidate will then be in place until the next AGM, when both the Theatre Director and the Commercial Director positions will be up for election as usual, along with any other vacancies at that time.

If you’re interested in applying, you can download a pack with details of the role and what being a trustee and director means. Please complete the application form and you will be asked for a short video (no more than three minutes) telling members about why you are applying for the role, your experience and anything else you’d like to let people know. Once we receive applications, we’ll put all the details up here so everyone knows who has applied. Applications will be open until midnight on 4th December.

Timetable:

20th November – Applications open for the role of Theatre Director.

4th December – Applications close at midnight.

5th December – Election process opens and members can vote.

21st December – Election process closes at 6pm.

22nd December – The successful candidate is announced.

These timings will allow a handover period in January and a smooth succession.
