Remembering Tristan White

We’re sad to announce the loss of former SLT member, Tristan White.

His friend and SLT member Will Howells contacted us to say:

Hi all. I’m sorry to share that my lovely, notoriously late friend Tristan White died suddenly a few weeks ago. It appears likely he had a fall at home but we are still awaiting a formal determination. He was only 30.

Tristan’s biggest role at SLT was in Apologia in 2023. He also assistant directed The Phlebotomist and was involved in the Summer Shorts in 2021 and 2024, appearing in two pieces as well as directing one.

There is a memorial event planned for Sunday 1st February. If you would like details, please message me your email address and I can arrange for them to be passed on.

It’s always sad when we lose a creative colleague from the SLT family, but especially so when we lose them so young. Our thoughts are with Tristan’s partner, friends and family.
