"The Black Mountain team welcomes the cast for this powerful contemporary play by Brad Birch, exploring the quiet and no-so-quiet power struggles that exist within close relationships, and the courage needed to fight them. Casting Black Mountain has been an intense process, with huge interest. The actors were fully committed to the text, and these fractured family relationships began to take shape in front of us. As a result, the final decision making process was racked with some anxiety as we attempted to piece together our choices.
