SLT Annual General Meeting

We are pleased to confirm that the 59th South London Theatre Centre Ltd (SLTC) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 6pm on Saturday 16 May 2026, held in person at the theatre.

The AGM is an important part of SLT’s governance and a chance for members to come together to reflect on the past year, hear key updates, and take part in the formal business of the organisation. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the work of our volunteers, productions, and the wider SLT community.

What to expect

The AGM will include:

  • Key highlights from the past year
  • Appointment of Auditors
  • Trustee elections
  • Recognition and thanks to those who regularly support the theatre

Full reports and audited accounts will be published on the website in advance of the meeting. Printed copies will also be available on the day. As in previous years, the AGM presentation will focus on highlights, and members are encouraged to read the full reports either before or after the meeting.

Trustee vacancies in 2026

There will be three trustee roles to be formally appointed at this year’s AGM:

  • One Ordinary Trustee (3-year term)
  • Theatre Director (annual election; current post holder standing)
  • Commercial Director (annual election; current post holder standing)

Trustees play a strategic governance role, helping to guide the long-term direction and sustainability of SLT.

We particularly welcome interest from members with experience or skills in areas such as safeguarding, leadership, fundraising, and strategic planning. Further information about trustee roles and how to apply will be published when the application window opens, but anyone interested in finding out more can email chair@southlondontheatre.co.uk.

Participation and conduct

We warmly encourage members to attend, participate, and engage constructively. The AGM is a formal meeting, but also a space for respectful discussion and shared ownership of the theatre’s future.

Further updates, including links to reports, trustee applications, and meeting details, will be shared via email, the WhatsApp community and on the website over the coming weeks.
