Auditions: SLT Summer Shorts 2026

Our annual festival of new writing has a programme of 10 short plays, which will be performed five times from 11-15 August, 2025. They represent a great opportunity for those with less experience, or time to commit.

These auditions will be informal and contain opportunities to read script excerpts across the short plays, which may or may not be available and posted on this page ahead of time.

The programme is likely to include a mix of monologue and small company, drama and comedy, and contemporary and period, all written to this year's theme of Window. Multiple roles are up for grabs for a range of ages and all genders.
