Casting: SLT Summer Shorts 2026

The curating team for our annual new writing vehicle is bursting with excitement to announce the cast – and directors – of an expanded lineup of short plays.

We were so bowled over with the quality of auditionees this year that - despite still having to say no to some brilliant candidates - we had to add another script to the bill, just to get more of these fantastic performers onto our stage! (The writing being of such quality this year too, that we kept one script in our pocket which we just couldn't decline.) We can't wait to set these 11 casts - which also represent a wonderful mix of SLT stalwarts and exciting new talents - to work with their directors and get our smorgasbord of playlets rehearsing for SLT's now beloved annual August production.
