Cold Water, hot mics on Riverside Radio

Community theatre met community radio once again last week, when the director and cast members of current show, Cold Water by Philippa Lawford were interviewed on Riverside Radio; the community radio station for Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth.

Featured in a show billed as “covering the dramatic side of life in South West London,” Jessika Hirvonen, Tess Eltringham and Elliot Archer appeared alongside G64 Theatre For Young People, to talk about upcoming London productions.

In the interview, (30 mins in if you want to skip to their segment) our team talk about the intimacy of the production, the chemistry of the actors and the fun they had putting together the story of what on the surface seems to be a story of two colleagues passing time and putting together a school production, whilst underneath addresses questions like, what do you want from life; what’s stopping you from pursuing your goals? …And revealing the courage it takes to realise your dreams.
