Desperately seeking Silent Sue

Seeking an actor to play a non-speaking role
Have you ever fancied being in a show but worry about being able to learn lines? Treasure Island is in need of an actor to play the part of Silent Sue, a villager taken to sea by Squire Trelawney who’s then bullied into becoming on of Long John Silver’s pirates, with all the swashbuckling that entails!
Sue is an integral part of a number of scenes and needs to do a lot of physical acting and reacting, but her only ‘lines’ are a couple of screams in the second half. Any age, level of experience or gender can work (though Sue is to be played as a female character) – you just need to want to be part of a large, sprawling show (full of lovely people).
The dates of the show are 22 – 25 July and 29 July – 1 August, including two matinees, and you would also be needed most nights during run-up the week before, as well as most rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes. If you’re available, then please email director Lisa Thomas as soon as possible.
