Auditions: Linck and Mülhahn

Ruby Thomas’ epic and playful love story, inspired by 18th-century court records and the extraordinary lives of a gender-pioneering couple, opened at Hampstead Theatre, London, in January 2023.
Dashing soldier Anastasius Linck has no intention of falling in love, but a chance encounter with the rebellious Catharina Mülhahn changes everything. As they begin to forge a relationship that breaks boundaries and rejects the rigid rules of their society, they find themselves confronted by a world determined to tear them apart.

A blend of actors from ages 20 to 50-plus. We are looking for a queer/non-binary actor to play the lead of Anastasius and are interested in seeing non-binary and queer-presenting actors for all roles. I have not put the gender of any characters on the audition form as the relative age of the characters are more important.

I am looking for a cast of between 12 and 20 and am looking to create a blended cast with an emphasis on making a queer/non-binary/allied atmosphere in the rehearsal room.
