Set in a rigid Puritan 17th-century town, a single lie sparks a wildfire of paranoia. As accusations fly and fear of witchcraft tightens its grip, friends turn on neighbours, lovers betray each other, and no one is safe. The Crucible is a gripping tale of desire, power and the terrifying cost of mass hysteria.
