A magical adventure, a fearsome witch, and one very special doll!

Vasilisa’s life hasn’t been a fairy tale. After losing her mother, she was left with one precious gift: a little doll. But this is no ordinary doll… she’s magical! With a spoon, a little courage and her magical companion by her side, Vasilisa sets off into the mysterious forest — where she encounters Baba Yaga, the fearsome witch who (can control time itself) and lives in a very unusual house…

As Vasilisa faces the darkness, she discovers her own motto:

KEEP THE LIGHT GOING!

A funny, magical and heart-warming adventure about courage, friendship, following your dreams and discovering who you really are.

L'Arche Drama Group is a group of people with and without Learning Disabilities. All money raised through ticket sales funds future productions by the drama group.

About L’Arche London

We believe that people with learning disabilities have much to teach us and contribute to the world. During the last fifty years, we have learnt that one of the best ways to enable this is by creating communities with a culture of shared lives between people with and without learning disabilities, from which we can work together to build a more human society. At L’Arche we celebrate people with learning disabilities and build circles of support around them. We go beyond supporting people’s basic needs to attend to their emotional and spiritual lives, too. It is this focus on building relationships and cultivating a sense of belonging that makes us different from other service providers.

About L'Arche London Drama Group

L'Arche Drama Group represents many of those from our London community who find joy in performance art and prop-making. The group meets weekly and has brought their performances to churches, theatres and conferences across London and the UK. Their last performances were Jack and the Beanstalk at the Stanley Arts and Babka at South London Theatre. You can see more about the group in this video:
