Yard Project Workshops

27 Mar 24

We need your ideas for the Yard Project!

We’re delighted to announce that SLT has been awarded a significant grant from the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (Levelling Up) via Lambeth Council.

We’re in the very early stages of checking the feasibility of this project, but we hope that the grant will enable us to build a single-storey space covering the whole footprint of the yard area (including the soil banks). Exact details and facilities are yet to be decided, and we will be consulting with a wide range of members to make sure that we maximise the opportunities for everyone that uses the building.

We anticipate holding several rounds of consultations as designs emerge and the project progresses, but to kick off we would like to invite members to attend one of the following sessions:

Monday 1 April, 8pm – 10pm
OR
Saturday 6 April, 10am – noon

Please RSVP by filling in this Google form (members only): https://forms.gle/WnxLLttzwdX2f6RA9

These initial sessions will be an opportunity to learn more about the project, and for the steering group to gather creative ideas, practical needs and “oh wouldn’t it be great if we…” comments ahead of our design meetings with the architects.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments or ideas, please send the Steering Group feedback via this google form: https://forms.gle/nw9WumBXft3zntjc8

Thank you
